Steve Blocks public sector roots run deep. He spent 15 years at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), leading global counterterrorism intelligence efforts and serving as Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs, where he engaged directly with Congress on defense and intelligence policy. He began his career as an intelligence officer at NGA and later worked as a management consultant at IBM, advising on technology modernization.
Block previously served as Global Director of Distribution and Fulfillment Solutions for Public Sector at Amazon, where he spearheaded logistics innovation for government clients, and led AWS’s federal policy strategy, shaping procurement, cybersecurity, and emerging technology policies in AI, quantum, and aerospace.
