When it comes to optimizing global supply chains Russell doesn’t just talk about possibilities, he delivers models and plans that produce strategic outcomes. A 24-year veteran of Amazon, he’s one of the leading minds behind their revolutionary fulfillment and network optimization systems. He developed algorithmic solutions that have been implemented across Amazon’s supply chain technology that helped saved billions of dollars and changed the way the world moves goods. At Auger, Russell is continuing to build on his rich history of engineering solutions to redefine what’s possible in the supply chain. Before Amazon, Russell worked in R&D at Bayer AG in Germany, optimizing chemical processes—including creating a manufacturing process for the iconic red color for Legos. A recognized leader in his field, Russell received the 2016 Martin K. Starr Award for his contributions to Production and Operations Management and has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering and as an INFORMS Fellow. Russell holds a PhD in chemical engineering from MIT and a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Princeton.

Sanjay is a tech innovator with over 30 years of experience turning bold ideas into game-changing systems. At Amazon, he led the creation of Just Walk Out, the AI behind checkout-free shopping; Dash Cart, a smart shopping assistant; and Amazon One, a biometric payment system. His pioneering work has revolutionized retail with scalable, seamless solutions. Before that, he transformed supply chains with Amazon’s Demand Forecasting System, using machine learning to optimize inventory and reduce waste. Sanjay’s passion? Making cutting-edge tech work for the real world. At Auger, Sanjay is tackling an even bigger challenge: rebuilding the supply chain from the ground up with AI-driven platforms.

A Stanford alumnus and co-founder of the “Mining Data at Stanford” lab, which helped incubate Google’s search engine, Brian holds over 10 patents and serves on the Founding Board of the University of Washington Information School. As both a National Science Foundation Fellow and Department of Defense Office of Naval Research Fellow, Brian is an AI pioneer who has been at the forefront of data science, machine learning, and leading-edge AI technology for over three decades. As Co-Founder and CEO of Plunk, he was building the first generative AI home analytics platform, transforming residential real estate into “the Bloomberg of real estate” using cutting-edge AI and computer vision. Early in his career, he established Amazon’s first AI and data mining group, developing technology that continues to drive significant sales. At Auger, he’s leading next-generation AI innovations to tackle the biggest inefficiencies in supply chain management and unleash new opportunities for businesses everywhere.

To build lasting and valuable businesses, it’s essential to forge partnerships, make strategic investments, and acquire capabilities that deliver unique and superior customer experiences. During his 16-year tenure at Amazon and as a former VP of WW Corporate Development, Alex spearheaded some of the company’s most transformational initiatives. Among his key accomplishments, he led the acquisition of Kiva Systems (now Amazon Robotics) which revolutionized Amazon’s global delivery network—and many other acquisitions; established strategic partnerships that enabled the creation of Amazon Air, the company’s global cargo operations; and launched a $1 billion corporate venture fund—Amazon Industrial Innovation—to support strategic investments in robotics and automation. After Amazon, Alex served as Chief Corporate Development Officer at NuBank and as the President of Wyze Labs Inc. Earlier in his career he worked as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan New York, specializing in M&A and private equity, and held leadership positions in operations management at Kraft Foods. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

Parikshit most recently led the 0-to-1 development of a managed open-source database service for Microsoft Azure. This groundbreaking service leverages cloud technology to streamline database management and deliver significant cost savings to customers, showcasing Parikshit’s strategic vision and technical leadership in creating scalable, customer-centric solutions. At Auger, he’s building a world-class customer success engineering team that ensures our tech doesn’t just work—it thrives.

AJ, a supply chain expert with over 20 years of experience, turned the impossible into reality with Amazon Prime Now which changed how consumers think about instant, one-hour delivery forever. In her 13 years at Amazon, AJ also led initiatives like real-time map tracking and delivery photos that redefined consumer delivery expectations worldwide. At Auger, she will focus on building AI-driven agentic applications and a customizable, consumer-grade user interface that simplifies supply chain management to connect businesses and customers in ways that were previously unimaginable.

The Machine Learning Master

A Principal Scientist with a knack for blending state-of-the-art AI with real-world impact, Andrew has earned a reputation as a leader who doesn’t just push boundaries—he helps reshape entire industries. With over two decades of experience, including founding and scaling a successful ML startup, Andrew has developed groundbreaking solutions in record linkage, supply chain optimization, and data deduplication. Most recently, he spent 10 plus years at Amazon as the lead scientist on projects that brought powerful but easy-to-use “automatic machine learning” techniques to product demand forecasting and large-scale product classification. In addition, he developed a record linkage system for Amazon internal applications ranging from Amazon Prime Video to the Amazon Product Catalog which was later turned into an AWS Service. Andrew is the author of multiple highly cited publications and patents that address the accuracy and scalability of an ML-based record linkage system. His influential doctoral thesis was among the first to apply ML to NLP. At Auger, Andrew aims to leverage his deep expertise in AI and ML to build transformative solutions for supply chain automation, ensuring Auger customers benefit from cutting-edge science that is seamlessly integrated into their workflows.

Jared is a seasoned design leader with over 15 years of experience creating customer-centric, innovative experiences across diverse industries. During nearly 10 years at Amazon, Jared drove impactful design strategies in areas such as logistics, smart home, and AI. He also led the design team for Amazon Glow, shaping end-to-end product experiences that included interactive content for children and seamless integrations with Kindle for families. Prior to Amazon, Jared was at IBM, where he developed cutting-edge digital solutions for high-profile clients, including Augusta National for The Masters, Wimbledon’s AELTC, and the Toronto Raptors.

Jessica began her career at Amazon where she specialized in attracting top talent and empowering leaders with robust people insights, before moving to high-growth startups where she built the HR function from the ground up. She knows that building a better supply chain starts with empowering the people behind it.
